Plans for the largest Tesco in Manchester, near to Lancashire Cricket Ground, have just been submitted. I am very concerned that Chorlton could suffer badly if these plans are approved. Chorlton’s independent shops are already threatened by the big supermarkets. This development could turn Chorlton into a ghost town.
