Chorlton Landmark to under go £750k refurbishment

Horse and Jockey undergoes a three quarter-of-a-million pound refurbishment

Chorlton based pub, The Horse and Jockey, is excited to announce that they will be re-launching in late March after a £750,000 refurbishment.

Following the overhaul the Jockey will re-open with a completely new concept, menu, and interior design. The refurbishment will see the current interior reconditioned and rejuvenated in to a contemporary and classic style.  The revamp will also see the kitchen extended to accommodate a more detailed menu.

Management believe the refurbishment will not change the essence of the pub but instead enhance it. General Manager Claire Lockhart explains, ‘We don’t really want to loose what the pub is, we’re still are a family friendly place but we don’t want to be outdated either. So we’re really welcoming the change but don’t intend to loose the charm.”

The launch party will take place on the weekend on Saturday 29th March with live bands and entertainment from 6pm onwards all for free. Join the Horse and Jockey mailing list for more information on how to get you free tickets and up-dates on the line-up.
