Chorlton Library opens on Sundays

Chorlton Library Opened its doors for the first time on a Sunday today. Although, quiet today, it is expected to grow once word of mouth spread.

Chorlton Councillor Paul Ankers asked Council officers to look at Sunday opening and get Chorlton's successful library open.

It will be open every Sunday from now on between 12pm and 4pm.

I think it is going to be a great success. It can be hard to get a computer slot in the library, but the spaces on Sunday will not last.

  1. You lot are shameless. This a Labour achievement from a Labour council under a Labour government. Really typical for you lot to claim credit.

  2. Nonsense. Labour need to be led towards good policies. I called for the report, but they would never have delivered without this.
Conversely, they have showed they can't deliver a good leisure centre for Chorlton after I called for a report there too.
